Yes. Many families book different tutors for different subjects. Your dashboard lists all active and past bookings in one place.
Tutor contact details are released only after your booking is confirmed and payment is held in escrow — so both sides are protected.
Every verified profile carries a blue checkmark. We review government ID, qualifications, and a sample lesson before approval.
Yes. After your first lesson, you can book weekly or bi-weekly slots directly from the tutor's calendar.
Tutors
Create a tutor account, complete your profile, and upload the verification documents listed in your dashboard. Most applications are reviewed within 48 hours.
Government-issued ID, proof of qualifications, and a short demo video. Specific subject tutors may need additional credentials.
Standard reviews complete in 24 to 72 hours. Complex files or missing documents can take up to 5 business days.
Yes. You can list as many subjects as you can credibly teach. Each subject is shown independently on your profile.
Earnings are released to your MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money account after each confirmed lesson. No delays, no thresholds to clear.
Payments
MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money across Cameroon. Card payments are in private beta — request access from your dashboard.
When you pay, funds are held by Mentora — not sent to the tutor — until both sides confirm the lesson took place.
After the lesson ends and both parties confirm completion, funds are released within 24 hours.
Yes, if a lesson is cancelled by the tutor, no-show occurs, or our support team confirms a service issue. Disputes are reviewed within 48 hours.
Reviews
Only learners who completed a lesson with the tutor can leave a review. This keeps feedback honest and relevant.
Yes, within 14 days of posting. After that the review is locked to preserve the public record.
Ratings are the rolling average of the last 100 reviews, weighted toward recency. Profiles always show the count of reviews used.
Account
Yes. Go to Account Settings → Contact. We'll send a confirmation link to your new address before the change goes live.
Yes, in Account Settings. For security, you'll need to verify the new number with a one-time code.
Email support@mentora.com from the address on your account. We'll confirm any active bookings, settle your balance, and complete deletion within 7 days.
Click "Forgot password" on the login page. We send a secure reset link valid for 30 minutes.
